Individual Coaching with Jana & Finja

Training sessions with dog trainers Jana and Finja can now be booked.

Jana (16) and Finja (13) have been active in dog sports and therapy dog work from an early age. Even as children, they supported dog handlers facing challenges with their dogs and helped with their training and development.

To request a training session with Jana or Finja, feel free to speak directly with Monika or Jana at the training field, or send an email to: info@monika-bodmer.ch

Jana
“I’m grateful for every opportunity to grow in working with dogs.” – Jana Rutschmann
Jana began her journey as a sport dog handler at the age of 8 with her dog Mala in BH1. Even as a child, she assisted dog handlers who were struggling with their dogs and supported them in training. With her dog Nera, she competed in IBGH 1 & 2. At just 13 years old, she became the youngest participant at the Swiss National Championship for All Breeds in IBGH3 with her dog Kyra.
She is currently training her first own dog, Gessa, as both a therapy and sport dog in IBGH and IGP.

The talented team qualified again the following year and successfully completed the 2024 Swiss Championship in Mollis.

Jana has a natural way of working with dogs and letting her heart and honesty shine.

I was able to adopt Nera, a 7-month-old Malinois dog, 6 years ago. During those years, my ego often got in the way. I ignored the trainer’s instructions and tried to do it my own way. This led to problems piling up; The “Aus” didn’t work anymore, Nera bit the leash and I could no longer participate with her in dog sport tests.

Jana started training with Nera…
She has a natural, warm and honest way of working with dogs. This positive energy transferred to Nera and within seconds you saw another dog. Jana radiated calm, concentration, honesty and liveliness. Nera had a happy expression and her entire body was more relaxed. Nera found peace and clarity.

After several hours of regular training, Jana was able to participate in dog sport exams with Nera and taught her this excellent “Voran”.

I can only recommend her training offer to everyone, not to collect exam points, but to learn from it for you and your dogs.

Jana & Monika, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support!

Daniela
