Dog sport test SC OG Rothrist, June 16, 2024
Many thanks to the SC OG Rothrist for the hospitality and words. With 13 registrations, the Hundesportverein ABRI won the challenge cup for the second time for the most registrations. In the most beautiful weather we were represented in all disciplines from BH/VT to IBGH3. We congratulate Nick on passing the BH/VT, now it starts 😊, in IBGH 1 Miriam for 4th and Simon for 3rd place, in IBGH 2 Gabriela for 3rd place and all sports dog handlers for passing the exam.

Concours BA BL Neuchâtel et environs, June 1, 2024
The Hundesportverein ABRI was warmly welcomed in Neuchâtel and even though our French wasn’t that good, there was still a poem at the end. Despite the car breakdown, the team was successful: We congratulate Finja on her 3rd result and thus qualification for the 2024 Swiss Championships in Mollis. Bravo! Fiammetta also got the 2nd result 😊 And Simon started in IBGH 1 and made 2nd place. Thank you “BA GL Neuchâtel et environs” for the great hospitality.
Nick & Laya
About 8 months ago Laya came into my life. A whirlwind on four paws that turned my world upside down. She was just a year old and I was a newbie to the world of dogs. The very insecure dog barked at other dogs, chased cars and frightened unknown visitors. We accidentally found our way to the Hundetherapie und -schule Bodmer thanks to a tip from a friend.
I quickly learned that Laya wasn’t the only insecure one of us and that I had a lot more to learn than she did. One of the most important lessons I learned through Laya is the realization that my dog’s behavior is often a reflection of myself. When I am calm and composed, this is reflected in Laya’s behavior. But when I’m stressed or insecure, that’s also reflected in her behavior. This realization helped me to work not only on Laya’s education, but also on myself.
What began as education and training for her and me quickly developed into a passion for dog sports. So we are now in the middle of preparing for our BH-VT exam.
The once insecure Laya quickly grew in confidence and strength, and it filled me with joy to watch her come out of her shell and begin to shine. Through consistent training, under Monika’s professional guidance, and through our tireless work, we strengthen our bond every day and become more and more of a team. I’m excited to see where our path will take us!

Dog test SKBS OG Solothurn, April 27, 2024
Dog test in beautiful weather in the alps. We thank the SKBS OG Solothurn for their hospitality. We congratulate everyone from the Hundesportverein ABRI on the qualification results for the Swiss Championship in Mollis and the ranks in IBGH 3: Lilian for 1st place, Andrea 3rd & 4th place, Fiammetta 5th place and Gabi for 6th place.
Visiting Schloss Regensberg
In proper April weather, we spent another afternoon with our therapy dogs with the children and young people from Stiftung Schloss Regensberg.
With a “round-the-castle” course with jumps, tunnels and various slaloms, there was a lot going on and the snow and rain were soon forgotten.
We could see the joy in many eyes and some kids didn’t want to stop. Always touching moments for the whole team…

This time we went to beautiful Appenzell with our four-legged friends.
At the dog park in Alpstein, our 4 starter teams gave their all and we congratulate Lilian on the 1st place, Gabi with her 2 dogs on the 2nd place in IBGH1 and the 3rd place in IBGH3, Fiammetta on the 5th place and Finja on the 6th place .
Dog test KV Grenchen from 24.3.2023
In windy weather, we opened the 2024 exam season with 10 teams from the ABRI dog sports club and started in Grenchen.
We congratulate Lilian on 2nd place, Finja on 4th place, Andrea on 5th place and all other teams on passing the exam. Lilian and Finja have already qualified for the Swiss Championships of all breeds. Go HSV ABRI!

Visit to the Sonnhalde nursing home
We visited the SONNHALDE nursing home with 14 dogs and 12 dog handlers. It was magical. Thank you for having us.

The two youngest participants in the Swiss Championships: Jana in 2022 and now Finja in 2023.
The two sisters from the dog sports club ABRI happy that Finja and her dog Eda were also able to take part in the Swiss Championships. This is not a given.

Visit child psychiatry Männedorf
A big THANK YOU to our four-legged friends. It cannot be described with words. We are grateful that you accompany us.
There was a lot going on in the break area of the Brüschhalde child psychiatric clinic. Jumping over obstacles with the dogs, hiding the toys or sitting on the ground and petting the dog. It’s just always touching how the children get involved with the dogs, each in their own way.
At the end, there was a wolf picture as a power card and an ABRI bear from HP Switzerland GmbH for each child. Thank you for this bear-strong donation. We are looking forward to visiting you again next time.
Monika, her team and the associated dogs have responded extremely sensitively to the needs of children and adolescents.
